Head Spa 

Do I need to wash my hair before the service? It is not recommended to wash your hair on the day of treatment as your hair and scalp will be thoroughly cleansed during your service. For best results, it is recommended to brush and detangle your hair prior to treatment and avoid use of gels or heavy styling products.

Who should get a head spa? Anyone can benefit from a head spa, but some people may want to avoid it if they have certain conditions or circumstances:

​Hair extensions: Our treatments cannot be performed on people with extensions, braids, or sew-ins as these obstruct full access to the scalp.

Pregnant women: It is recommended that pregnant women consult with their doctor prior to treatment due to use of essential oils and the amount of time spent lying on your back. 

Allergies or sensitivities to fragrance: While all of our ingredients are of the highest quality, caution should be exercised by anyone with allergies or sensitivities to fragrances or ingredients. It is important to inform your therapist in advance of any special needs.
Following a surgery: Services are not recommended for people who have had surgery recently. Treatments can be resumed following your doctor's approval

How often should I get a scalp facial? That depends on your scalp type, but in general it is recommended to get a scalp facial once a month to ensure maximum benefits. Depending on desired results, scalp massage, dry brushing, and high frequency should be performed twice weekly. 

Are blowouts and styling included? Blowouts are not included in the treatment. If you prefer your hair to be dried after your service, but access to a self-serve hair drying station will be made available to you

Is a scalp facial safe for color treated hair? All of our ingredients are safe for any kind of treated hair. However, due to the thorough nature of the cleansing process during a scalp facial there is a chance that hair colorant may fade slightly after repeated sessions over time. Clients are advised to wait at least a week after any kind of hair treatment before receiving a scalp facial.

Holistic Teeth Whitening

How do I prepare for teeth whitening treatment?  Drink plenty of water 24 hours before your appointment and after so you can rehydrate your teeth to prevent any sensitivity

How long is a teeth whitening service? It will be 3 sessions of 20 minutes with a few minutes to rinse and reapply products

 

How often should I come back for teeth whitening?  It depends on your diet if you drink coffee, tea, or acidic foods you will want to have it done every 3 months, but otherwise every 6 months.

Will I experience sensitivity? There’s little to no sensitivity for most people, but it’s important to know that temporary sensitivity can occur, especially if you already have sensitive teeth. I’ll walk you through everything, make sure you’re comfortable, and give you tips for proper aftercare.

Are the treatments safe to use? Our whitening gels are all-natural with no added chemicals or flavors, so sensitivity is rare—but still a possibility. Staying hydrated will help! If you do experience sensitivity this is normal and can be treated by an over the counter pain reliever.

Do I brush my teeth before? Please do not brush too hard or floss at least one hour before your appointment
